Charity, finding Joy

What brings us joy? What is joy? How do we find joy?

Joy comes in several ways.  We find joy in engaging our selves in activities we enjoy, being with those that we love, some of us find joy in others misery.  But we must seek the joy that will endure all things, when we can find that joy that endures, we strive to share it with other, because it is love.

We find joy throughout our lives and often ask ourselves how can we find more.  Well, we find enduring joy in the pure Love of the Savior Jesus Christ, (Charity, see 1 John 4:18-21), more than giving of our substance but sharing this love, we will search for it, seek after it and try to emulate it.  THIS IS WHERE WE FIND JOY.

As we emulate the Love Christ has for us, and share it with those around us we are all lifted and bettered by His example.  I reiterate that the love we show to the least of these our brethren we show it to our Lord. It is Service.(see Matt. 25: 35-40)

Today, experiment, try going out of your way to lift someone else, think of them love them and support them even as Christ does for us.  As you look for those opportunities you will find that selfishness never will equal happiness.  The Love of God brings those feelings of true Joy that endures always. This is Love.  See it bless your life.
